Here is how to set them up correctly to avoid false alarms (caused by shadows, bugs, or car headlights).

Brightness of phone screen: Turn up to 100%. 2. Distance: Hold the phone 4-6 inches away. 3. WiFi band: Ensure you are on 2.4GHz (not 5G). | | No sound on playback | The microphone is disabled by default in some regions. Go to Live View -> Click the "Mic" icon to unmute. Check "Audio Recording" is ON in settings. | | Night vision is dark/blurry | IR LEDs reflect off dust or glass. If indoors, turn off "Night Vision Mode" if the room has ambient light. Clean the lens with a microfiber cloth. | | SD card not recognized | 1. Turn off camera. 2. Remove card. 3. Use an adapter to format it on a PC as FAT32. 4.
