Streaming has also de-risked projects. Demography is destiny. The "Silver Tsunami" of aging populations in the West, combined with the buying power of Gen X women, means the industry is finally catering to its audience. Women over 50 control a massive percentage of household wealth and streaming passwords. They are tired of watching their daughters' stories; they want their own.
